When we were at Mum and Dad's place yesterday, they gave me a heap of peaches. Specifically though Dad wanted me to have a go at preserving them. I have done beetroot before but never fruit. I consulted my trusty book and decided on a medium syrup. I made up three bottles of them and they have sealed. The rest will make up a batch of peach jam tomorrow.
